First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants or Nursery Nurses with caring / energetic personality who have a passion for supporting young people with learning disabilities In the community, to help look after a young adult female in her own home. You will work alongside an experienced Nurse whilst covering the day shifts on the package, based in Milton Keynes MK8

Shift Patterns: Days Only
Day Shifts:
15:00 - 21:00 (Weekdays)
09:00 - 21:00 (Weekends)

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 2:1 care to service user in their own home, always working alongside a Nurse
- Supporting with activities such as walks, swimming and trike rides
- Build rapport with family members and other staff members
- Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of 1 Years recent UK experience in healthcare sector
- Good communication (clear spoken English)
- Knowledge or experience with Therapy/Sensory Play and more
- Able to support a client with Hydrotherapy in a swimming pool
- Safe car driver with a fully driving license
Experience
- Sensory Play: 1 year (required)
- Experience with communicating and caring for clients who is non verbal (required)
