Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to work on one of our packages based near Tenterden, Kent. Our client is a 18 year old female who lives at home.

Shifts Available:

Term time - Mon to Fri: 15:30 - 21:00 / Weekends 08:00 - 21:00

Non Term time - Mon to Sun 08:00 - 21:00 / Ocassional Nights available

Experience Required:

• Non-Invasive Ventilator - BiPAP - NIPPY 4+
• Gastrostomy Feeding - (MIK-CEY button)
• Seizure Management
• Medication Administration

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to service users in their own home
• Moving & Handling
• Medication Management
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed accordingly

Requirements for the role:

• A minimum of 1 Years recent UK experience working with complex young children
• Good communication (clear spoken English)
• Must be a car driver due to Family home very remote
