First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. Whilst working for First Option, you’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a caring/energetic personality who has a passion for looking after adults with complex needs in the community, to help look after a 19-year-old male in his own home based in Ramsgate, CT12

You will need to have recent practical experience within the last 12 Months looking after adults with complex needs in the community 

This job is for both Day shifts and Night shifts

Shift Times: 09:30 - 17:30 / 19:00 - 07:00

Pay Rate: £35 - £40 P/hour

Complex Needs:

• Deep Suctioning (Oral)
• Non Invasive Ventilation via BiPAP
• Central Line Care
• Cough Assist
• Medication Administration / Management via a Jejunostomy
• Manual Handling
• Catheter Care - Indwelling & Intermittent

Desirable Experience:

• Gastrostomy/Jejunostomy via PEG/J
• Ileostomy
• Hypertonic Nebulisers
• Testing Blood Sugars

Requirements for the role:

• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practised
• Good communication (clear spoken English)
