Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants with a caring & energetic personality who have a passion for supporting young people with complex needs In the community, to help look after a 8 year old male in his own home based in Guildford, GU1

Please note you will need to have a minimum of 12 months UK complex care experience within the last 2 years

Shift Patterns: School Shifts - Start at Clients Home and go with client to school in a Taxi

Day Shifts Only: 08:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to client whilst at school
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members at the school
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Experience Required

• NG Tube Feeding (1 Feed at School)
• Recognising Deterioration
• Clear speaking English due to client not being able to hear properly
