Paediatric Complex Support Worker Health Care Assistant

Job Introduction

Job Description:

We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a private complex care package supporting a child with high clinical needs in their family home.

Complex Care Needs: 

• PEG feeding 
• Epilepsy (medication management only – no rescue medication)
• Tracheostomy 
• Bowel Management
• Ventilators 
• Vital signs observations 
• Personal care

Training Requirements:

• Successful candidates must complete 3 shadow shifts:
• 2 day shifts
• 1 night shift
• Candidates must be clinically vetted and cleared prior to starting
• Attend Bespoke In House Training (DAY 1 AND DAY 2 IN HEAD OFFICE FOR COMPLEX CARE)

Ideal Candidates:

• Previous experience in complex care (essential)
• Confident with complex care clinical skills like peg, tracheostomy, respiratory etc. 
• Previously trained and confident in administering medications
• Confident in Manual and Handling
• Calm, patient, and attentive to sensory needs
• Reliable and committed to a long-term package
• Driver Licence REQUIRED
