Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring & compassionate HCA to look after a 24 year old male based in ME16

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months' UK experience in the last two years working closely with adults with clinical complex needs in a hospital or community setting

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

• Dystonia
• Seizure Management
• Gastrostomy
• PEG
• Medication Administration
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
• Support client outside the home when required i.e. medical appointments, family trips and days out

Shift Patterns

Monday - Sunday Days: 09:00 - 21:00

Monday - Sunday Nights - 21:00 - 09:00
