Package Description

We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a private complex care package supporting a 16‑month‑old male child with high clinical needs in his family home.

Shift Pattern

NIGHT SHIFTS ONLY (22:00–07:00)
6 × 9‑hour shifts per week

About the Individual

The service user is a 16‑month‑old male with complex medical needs who requires full assistance with all aspects of care. Clinical needs include:

• Paediatric tracheostomy care/Tracheostomy suction
• Medication administration
• Nebuliser administration
• Monitoring vital signs
• Seizure management 
• PEG feeding (NG TUBE)
• Oxygen administration

Training Requirements

Successful candidates must:

• Complete 3 shadow shifts along with tracheostomy singing off by dedicated Clinical Lead. 
  • 3 night shifts
• Be clinically vetted and fully cleared prior to starting
• Attend bespoke in-house training and tracheostomy training with our Clinical Educators. 

Ideal Candidates

We are looking for Support Workers who are:

• Experienced in complex care (essential)
• Confident in paediatric tracheostomy care
• Skilled in NG feeding, suctioning, nebulisers, oxygen, and PEG feeds
• Previously trained and competent in medication administration
• Confident with manual handling
• Calm, patient, and able to respond quickly to clinical changes
• Reliable, consistent, and committed to a long-term package
• Drivers preferred due to rural home location.
