Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, bubbly & energetic Healthcare assistant to look after a 66 year old male who lives in his own home based in PE38

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months experience working with adults with spinal injuries & complex needs

Main Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

• Spinal injury experience
• Autonomic Dysreflexia knowledge
• Manual Handling
• Bowel Care
• Medication Administration,
• Suprapubic Catheter Care,
• Assistance With All Care
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
• Support client outside the home when required i.e. medical appointments, family trips and days out

Shift Patterns

Mondays - Sundays Days: 08:00 -21:00
