Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, bubbly & energetic HCA's to look after a 10 year old girl based in Colchester CO2

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months' UK experience in the last two years working closely with children with clinical complex needs in a hospital or community setting

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

• Enteral Feeding (PEG)
• Tracheostomy
• Ventilation (Astral 150 Ventilator)
• Cough Assist
• Oxygen Management/Therapy
• Suctioning (Tracheal)
• Hoisting
• Chest Physio
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
• Support client outside the home when required i.e. medical appointments, family trips and days out

Shift Patterns

Mondays - Friday Days: 07:00 - 19:00 / 07:00 - 16:00

Sundays - 07:00 - 15:00
