Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a 24/7 care package supporting an adult with a brain injury in their own home in Colchester.
This is a rewarding role supporting an individual with complex needs, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life in a person-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 support within the client’s home
Supporting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
Assisting with rehabilitation goals and structured routines
Managing complex care needs related to acquired brain injury
Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience supporting individuals with brain injuries
Experience in complex care (essential)
Calm, patient, and compassionate approach
Ability to work as part of a 24/7 rota (days, nights, weekends)
Excellent communication and reliability
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
