Support Worker

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a 24/7 care package supporting an adult with a brain injury in their own home in Colchester.

This is a rewarding role supporting an individual with complex needs, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life in a person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 support within the client’s home

• Supporting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities

• Assisting with rehabilitation goals and structured routines

• Managing complex care needs related to acquired brain injury

• Maintaining accurate records and following care plans

• Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with brain injuries

• Experience in complex care (essential)

• Calm, patient, and compassionate approach

• Ability to work as part of a 24/7 rota (days, nights, weekends)

• Excellent communication and reliability

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
