Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for nurses who have a passion for supporting young people with learning disabilities in the community to help look after a 17-year-old female in her own home supported by parents based in Milton Keynes MK8. You will also work alongside an experience Healthcare Assistant whilst covering the day shifts on the package

Shift Patterns:

Night Shifts: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sun (Set shifts required: Shifts Monday - Sunday)

Day Shifts: Sundays (Set shifts required: Shifts Monday - Sunday)

Shift Times:

21:00 - 08:00 (Nights)

15:00 - 21:00 (Weekdays) 08:00 - 18:00 (Weekends)

Rates Breakdown:

Weekday Rate: £34 Weekday Nights: £35

Weekend Day: £35 Weekend Nights: £36

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home
• Use complex care equipment to carry out complex procedures
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

• A minimum of 2 Years recent UK experience working closely with people with clinical complex needs
• Enteral Feeding
• Experience managing complex Seizures
• Oxygen
• Play Therapy
• Medication Administration
• Manual Handling
