Job Introduction

Job Title: HCA Complex care - Adults -  (Days & Nights)

First Option Healthcare services are currently recruiting for HCA'S to join our Adult package on adhoc ongoing shifts  within vicinity of Colchester  and must have access to to vehicle to arrive on time  to shift as there is no public transport nearby.

Overview of Key skills and requirements for this HCA role:

• 3 years+ Complex care experience 
  • Level 2 safe handling of medication- ESSENTIAL experience
  • Gastrostomy Feeding - ESSENTIAL experience 
  • Tracheostomy - ESSENTIAL experience 
  • Suctioning - ESSENTIAL experience 
  • Diabetes insulin administration - Essential experience  
  Breakaway techniques -Desirable 
• Managing Continence
• Manual Handling
• Oral care
• Personal care
• Attendance in house bespoke training - Face to face attendance Mandatory 
• Must be a driver or have access to a vehicle to get to and for work ( Essential )
• 12 hour shifts x2 per weekly minimum commitment (Essential)
