Job Introduction

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence. We have a variety of different packages available ranging from children to adults which you can make a difference on straight away!

Shifts: Mondays / Thursdays / Sundays

Shift Types: Nights

Shift Times: 22:00 - 08:00

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home
• Use complex care equipment to carry out complex procedures
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

• A minimum of 12 months' UK experience in the last two years working closely with people with clinical complex needs
• Enteral Feeding
• Seizure Management
• Oxygen
• Play Therapy
• Medication Administration
• Manual Handling
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures
• Supporting clients outside the home when required i.e medical appointments, family trips and days out
